| Sunita Kumar began her fashion career as a trainee buyer at Topshop in London. However, she realised that her true love was magazine editorial and began gaining experience with publications such as Dazed & Confused, Wallpaper and finally Sunday Times Style under fashion director Isabella Blow. Her next move was to New York where she assisted Anastasia Barbieri of Paris Vogue and subsequently worked with Alex White, fashion director of W Magazine, where Sunita was later promoted to Accessories Editor. After several years at W, Sunita began her freelance fashion career. Clients include Gilt Groupe, Estee Lauder, Target, Macy's, Opensky, WWD, W, Soma and contributor to Saks 5th Ave; she also consults for several fashion designers and retailers. |
